Statement of Faith
​At Star Christian Academy, our mission is to provide a Christ-centered education that equips students with academic excellence, character development, and spiritual growth. Our beliefs are grounded in the Word of God and are foundational to everything we teach and do.
1. We believe in the one true God, eternal, Holy, Creator, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
2. We believe in the Godhead, the blessed Trinity, three in one, existing in three eternal persons:
God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit; coequal, co-eternal.
3. We believe in Jesus Christ, the son of God, the Word become man; fully God and fully man,
born of a virgin, sinless in his whole life.
4. We believe these are the central things (among many) about the work and death of Jesus Christ
on the cross:
• It was substitutionary
• It was not for his own sin, but for the sin of others
• It was atoning for sin
• It was sufficient in its full
• It was a propitiation of God's wrath towards sin
• It purchased every spiritual blessing for God's people
5. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers; who guides, convicts, and testifies of
Jesus Christ.
6. We believe in the Bible, the Word of God (both Old and New Testaments, 66 books in total),
divinely inspired, inerrant in its original transcripts, the only final authority for Christian belief
and practice.
7. We believe that there is but one way to God, and that is by his Son, Jesus Christ.
8. We believe in the Gospel of free grace, by which we are saved by faith alone, which is offered to
all people around the world. The Gospel can simply be described as the death and resurrection
of Jesus Christ to save sinners from the just wrath of God.
9. We believe in both an eternal Hell and eternal Heaven.
10. We believe in the final resurrection.
11. We believe in the second coming of Christ.
